A Journey of Self-Discovery Through the Stars: Embracing Astrology and Intuition 🪞✨

From an early age, our souls are intuitively drawn to specific subjects and have gifts. Often these inclinations may seem unexplainable, but they hold deep significance. Personally, I discovered my fascination with astrology at a young age, despite having no familial influence in this field. Even in my secondary school years, I would doodle the astrological glyphs of my sun sig n and its opposite sign, exploring the very basics of this ancient wisdom. Last summer I was able to visit my family who live in Bosnia, after 3 years of Covid restrictions. I was amazed by the young wisdom of my 11year old niece, who expressed an interest in astrology. When her mother would tell me stories she would ask “what sign are they mama?”and when we did drawings she sketched some of the astrological glyphs. I would only see her for a short time on a yearly basis (prior to the 3 year restriction) so her influence certainly wasn’t from me! Witnessing her innate connection to this ancient art affirmed my belief in the soul's continuous journey and the transmission of gifts across lifetimes. I should also mention the divine synchronicities with her placements and mine, she happens to be my opposite sun sign (same as my partner), her moon sign is my ascendant sign and my moon sign is her ascendant sign (which is the same as my partner also!). Once you start looking into the placements of your family members, loved ones and even those of the individuals you happen to be around, it becomes almost comical to see the divine synchronicities!

Unfortunately, astrology has often been misunderstood in the modern day and wrongly stigmatised. Some perceive it as evil or manipulative, but it is crucial to separate genuine astrological exploration as a tool for good, from distorted intentions. The ancient wisdom of astrology was never intended to cause harm or mislead; instead, it holds the potential to reveal our true selves to connect with our inherent power. The distorted perception of astrology as evil is a result of its misuse and misrepresentation by those who seek to manipulate, judge or distort its ancient teachings. It is essential to recognise that intention plays a crucial role in the interpretation and application of any knowledge or tool, including astrology. How can one be drawn to a subject at such a young age if it is inherently evil?

When approached with sincerity and a genuine desire for self-discovery, the natal chart is a powerful insight for personal growth and empowerment. It allows us to dive into the depths of our individuality, understand our strengths and weaknesses, with the aim of unlocking our truest potential. By exploring the cosmic influences and patterns reflected in our charts, we can gain profound insights into ourselves as well as the interconnectedness of the world!
