My birth name is Katarina, culturally known as Kato by my students and family. The prononciation for 'Ka' is like the word Mer'ka'ba, with 'Ka' meaning 'spirit' in ancient Kemet. They believed in multiple components of the soul and the "Ka" was one of them. I was also told by some of my students in China that in one particular dialect 'Kato' meant 'sweet sister' which adds to the synchronicities around my nickname. I've been intuitively drawn to astrology since my teenage years and my passion for this sacred subject has deepened into adulthood. The journey began during my solo backpacking adventure through Southeast Asia at the age of 22, where I discovered the astrological natal chart. Continuously studying it, I gained insights into myself and used it as an alchemical tool for clarity and consciousness.

 

Astrology provided a deeper understanding and acceptance of my life journey, which is constantly misunderstood and questioned by others. This metaphysical subject became a safe space where I found validation for the unique path I travelled and the complex roots I came from. When I realised how much of my life aligned with my birth chart, I dived deeper into astrology and was awed by the profound wisdom of the stars. Utilising it for self-discovery, healing, health and wellness, my intention now is to share the knowledge gained over the years on this metaphysical subject, in hopes that it can help others on their journey. My services emphasise self-care as well as holistic suggestions for navigating the information presented to you, to serve you in the best way possible.

My diverse professional journey started as an English teacher in Thailand, living in a garage at one point. My solo backpacking experience through Southeast Asia led me to explore not only astrology but also my favourite philosophy, Taoism which is when I had my first 'awakening' as we call it. I then transitioned into the luxury corporate sector in roles across fine jewellery, private jets and marinas.

Navigating these versatile experiences with the insights and guidance from my natal birth chart, I returned back into teaching and coaching, this time for adults and for professionals in China, specialising in international business and public speaking. However, many of my students booked my classes to share their heart and have discussions about spirituality, which led to my classes becoming an avenue for students learn about astrology. I eventually was advertised on the school website as a 'Western Constellation Master'. After all these experiences, I now proudly identify as an intuitive astrologer, sharing my gifts with those who are seeking them.
